WWII U.S. Capac M-1 Helmet Liner with Headband & Neckband (1944-45)Description This is an original WWII U. S. M 1 helmet liner. It was produced by Capac Manufacturing Company of Capac, Michigan. It features blackened brass A washers and an OD#3 (khaki) suspension, approximately dating the liner's production from mid 1944 to 1945. It has recently been completed with an original Lapeer Fabricators, Inc. headband and a Paul K. Weil Co. neckband. Inscribed on its interior is the surname of its original owner, "McDONALD".
