The mill is made from solid rubber wood fully FSC certified, finished with 8 coats of high gloss lacquer hand polished between each coat. Using a ceramic mechanism, the mill requires a clockwise motion to activate. The mills can be used for grinding either Rock Salt (Dry Salt Crystals) or Black Peppercorns. So after spending quite a bit of money on toys for a 1-year-old long-haired dachshund because she's a very aggressive chewer I took a chance and bought this rope set and it's been 2 months she still has all her ropes everything I must say this is a very durable set well worth the money well worth the play time she loves tug of war these ropes are great for tug of war she has not chewed through any of them she has tried to take them apart which she had succeeded on one but I put a few knots in it and other than that I would recommend this rope set to anyone that's got a dog that likes the fat especially play tug of war or is a very very aggressive sure
