Don Reitz platterReitz was a professor of ceramics at UWM (1962 to 1988) at the time this was made. This example is unmarked and from the estate of a fellow ceramics professor in the UW system. Attribution is confirmed by friends of Don Reitz. Condition pot has an in place firing crack on foot made for a wire hanger. It rests flat for display on table and base is felt covered. Also shows nicely in a stand. Price discounted for this imperfection. Measures 15 x 2. 75

This is the perfect size to go on my dresser. I used to have a tall jewelry chest that really just collected a bunch of things that I didn't really need.
