The rubber is very thick and he chews it constantly but it stays in tact. It is soft enough to squeak if he gets a hold of it just right, but that’s the rare treat. The size is perfect for my 80 pound boy. I am also able to throw these toys in his pool for him to dive for them. Definitely in great value for the price.
